About Us
We Motivate Through Motion!
Rhythm ‘n Motion was founded in 2007 to give students a safe and family-friendly atmosphere. Four years later, in 2011, it came under new ownership and has flourished. Dancers are taught in a structured and nurturing environment where we ensure the safety of dancers by using the proper training techniques, sprung dance floors, and marley flooring. Our studio has high expectations of each dancer and trains the students in a pre-professional atmosphere. While we know that not every dancer will become a professional, we want to give them the knowledge and technique required if they choose to pursue that path. Our studio performs multiple times a year at parades, festivals, and community gatherings. Students have the option to attend up to 3 dance festivals a year furthering their dance education.
For our more serious students, we feature a non-profit company, Turning Pointe Dance Company. TPDC produces multiple performances throughout the year including their productions such as The Nutcracker: Candy Land Edition, Sleepy Hollow, Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Sleeping Beauty. All RNM ballet students are invited to participate in each show, giving them extra performance opportunities.
Students as young as three years old are welcome at RNM. We offer a variety of classes and private lessons as well.
