Saturday, June 14 – SHOW DAY!

  • 12:00pm Call time for Int/Adv Ballet
  • 1:00pm Call time for young dancers
  • 1:30pm Doors open
  • 2:00pm Curtain

Here’s a checklist of reminders to keep you organized and prepared for the big performance!

  • Recital Packet
Pick up your recital info packet (affectionately called the Recital Bible by some parents) from the front desk. Familiarize yourself with the schedules and requirements – we recommend you enter all important dates into your phone calendar or personal organizer. Lost your copy? Stop by the front desk!
  • Costumes
Make sure all accessories are put away safely so they don’t get lost. Remember to iron or steam your costume to get out wrinkles before your performance. Tights, shoes and hair guidance for each recital piece can be found in your Recital Packet.
  • Hair & Makeup
Consult your Recital Packet for all the guidelines and tips for hair and makeup for your dancers.
  • Label everything
Things can get chaotic backstage, so label your costumes, bags, shoes, hangers — everything!
  • Helper List
Please check the helper list (found in the Recital Packet) so you know which day you will be helping with the show. Helpers do not receive a complementary ticket this year — instead you will receive one free credit which can be applied to tuition the following year.
  • Flowers, Happy Grams, Business Ads
Submit your orders by May 29!
  • Pack in advance
There is a handy list in your recital packet with a long list of everything you need in your dance bag to survive tech week, dress rehearsals, and performance nights.
  • Arrive early!
If you arrive early, you’re on time; if you’re “on time,” you’re LATE! Arriving early reduces travel and parking stress, too. All students are expected to be stretching and ready to go by their start times.
